Presbyterian Women
This organization provides many opportunities and programs for women to worship and serve. Allison Williams (671-4919) serves as moderator. Cathey Maples is past moderator and Betty Hall Robinson is moderator elect.
Church and community services include: Circle
Seven circles meet monthly September through May in both day and night sessions. Members of our first group, the Home Circle, are unable to attend meetings away from their residence. These homebound participants are visited and nurtured each month by members of the other six circles. Meeting on the second Monday for Bible study, discussions and outreach ministries are Circles 2, 3, 4 and 5 while Circle 6 meets on the second Tuesday. One group meets in the morning while the others meet either in the afternoon or evening. Circle 7 meets monthly for community service.
Special Events
Two gatherings are held during the year and open to all women in the congregation. At the Fall Gathering a Thank Offering is received. The Birthday Objective is received at the Spring Gathering.
