We had a FANTASTIC Vacation Bible School

July 10-13, 2011


"Shake it Up Cafe!

Where kids carry out God's recipe"


VBS was a hands-on engaging adventure exploring what God is cooking up in our lives.


Grounded in scripture and presented through storytelling, music, science, cooking, recreation, and art, children were equipped with a recipe box full of God's wisdom.  Tweens participated in local mission.  Youth served as "Hosts" and workshop assistants.  The adult study focused on the Bread of Life.

 

Children brought a nightly offering of canned goods for the RCCCC food pantry.

 

 

Thank you to co-directors Maureen Metzger, Sarah Griffin-Greene, and Charlotte Allbright.  Thank you also to the many many volunteers who served as workshop leaders and and "Servers".
