A Note for Young Families:  A caring staff member and parent-volunteers provide nursery care during the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services as well as Sunday School for infants and toddlers.  The nursery is located in Room 103.

Preschoolers (ages 2-4) are invited to participate in worship at both services.  Children's Worship Packets are available.  At the 11:00 a.m. service, children ages 2 - 4 will exit with a church volunteer after the Time with the Children for a special Bible lesson time in Room 103.

Worship Services
On Sunday mornings we invite you to experience worship at one of our services. Worshipers at our early service tend to be casual. At the traditional service you will see more dresses, coats and ties. Whatever your choice, please know we welcome you to worship with us.

Contemporary Worship is held at 8:30 in the fellowship hall of the Activities Building.  The worship team and band lead the music.  We invite you to join us in singing hymns and praise songs and to hear the message delivered by our pastor.  The congregation comes forward during the Lord’s Supper to receive bread and grape juice at each early service.

Traditional Worship begins at 11:00 in the sanctuary, and the Chancel Choir and pastor lead the service.  An elder delivers the prayers of the people and often assists in the worship service.  Soloists, the handbell choir, youth chorale and children's choir are regular features.  Communion is celebrated at least once each quarter and is open to all baptized Christians regardless of denomination.

Sermon Archives are available as pdf documents and podcasts.

Radio broadcast
The worship service at 11:00 a.m. is broadcast each Sunday at 12:00 noon over radio station WFVL 102.3 FM.  First Presbyterian Church has had a radio presence since 1945.
